How to apply
We are now welcoming applications for 2025. You can apply by clicking the link below. The deadline for receipt of applications is Monday 2 December 2024.
Kinders (3+) and Reception (4+)
Please complete the LGJS Early Years online application form
Children will spend the morning in a small group, during which time our experienced staff will be able to gauge their level of skill development and readiness for school.
Years 1 to 5 (5+ to 9+)
Please complete the LGJS Years 1 to 5 online application form
Children will spend the day in school with formal assessments in the morning.

All children
Parents will be contacted with a decision following the assessment. Please note LGJS does not provide assessment scores to applicants or offer face-to-face feedback meetings to unsuccessful applicants.
If required, we offer unsuccessful candidates a short phone call providing feedback on areas where an applicant was below the LGJS entry standard. We will endeavour to do this within a month of the assessment outcome. However, timings cannot be guaranteed due to the volume of applicants and the school timetable.
