Children join Reception in the September following their fourth birthday, where they become part of one of three vibrant classes. Each class benefits from the expertise of a qualified teacher and a nursery nurse, ensuring every child receives the highest level of care and support.

Reception can be a child's ideal entry point into our learning environment, as well as being a natural progression from Kinders, offering a seamless transition into more structured learning. Children continue to develop essential skills through a carefully balanced mix of adult-led activities and play-based learning, fostering independence, creativity, and confidence.

Learning in Reception is hands-on, exciting, and innovative. Traditional teaching methods are complemented by modern technology, including computers, iPads, and interactive whiteboards, creating an engaging and dynamic classroom experience.

Our curriculum is enriched by specialist teaching in Music and PE, with additional support from a French specialist, ensuring a broad and stimulating education from the very start.
